Channel 5 is a featured article, which means it is considered to be one of the best articles in the Space Channel 5 Wiki.

Channel 5 is a space broadcasting channel in the Space Channel 5 series. As its name implies, it is the fifth Channel in the galaxy. Channel 5 is one of the seven known Channels in the era of Space Channel 5, and is famous for being the main protagonist's channel.

Said to be a channel that’s leading the rest when it comes to special news programs.[1] The emergency live broadcasts of the Morolian Invasion and Blank Incident, “appearing on the scene with a special news program to solve the case,” appealed to people from all over the galaxies with the same charm the channel originally had, contributing the return of the special report boom. Prior the Morolian Invasion, the ratings were low and was considered to be nothing special, but thanks to Ulala, the channel has become very popular around the universe, with a huge amount of ratings.

Channel 5 logo consists of a blue "5", within a blue satellite-monitor-like shape.

The channel's signature move is a "5" done with the right hand, as Ulala frequently does at reports' end.

All of the microphones shown thus far were blue colored, with the Channel 5 logo painted on it. In Space Channel 5: Part 2, the Ulala Mic item information in the changing room states that Ulala painted her Channel 5 microphone blue without asking for permission first. However, all of the other Channel 5 Reporters have blue microphones, oddly enough. It is possible that this was a design choice seemingly reflected by the rest of Channel 5's staff soon after.

Ulala's microphone has the ability to transform into various things including: another Tension Blaster; a guitar; some drums; and a keyboard.

The camera used by the Special Report Team is implied to be operated automatically.[5] It's presences is rarely acknowledged, though, it can be seen hitting the shutter at Channel 5's Headquarters if Ulala fails to slide under it with proper timing.
