Chef (yellow) is the master of ladles and minor character who only appeared in Space Channel 5: Part 2.

Report 1: Ulala Back in Action!
Chef (yellow) only appeared in the Extra Mode version of the Report 1. After the first dance battle against Shadow, (the one where Chef (green) and Bartender Girl are rescued) there will be a shooting segment where Chef (yellow) will eventually appear being forced to dance by the Rhythm Rogues. To save him, Ulala must memorize and copy the directions given by Shadow.
Just like every other rescued hostage, Chef (yellow) will follow and assist Ulala throughout the rest of the Report once he is saved.
Super Ladle
Unlockable Ladle item.
Once the player rescues Chef (yellow) in the Extra Mode version of Report 1, Chef (yellow)'s in-game profile will be unlocked. If the player checks Chef (yellow)'s in-game profile, Chef (yellow) will gift the player with a Ladle item which Ulala will be able to replace her microphone with.

Trivia[]
- His Great Ladle is an unlockable microphone for Ulala, obtained by rescuing him and accessing his in-game profile after.
- Despite him being "a master of the Great Ladle", Chef (yellow) is only ever seen wielding two cleavers.
- A ladle was likely made the unlockable microphone so Ulala wouldn't be carrying a type of knife.
