Melody McBean, also known as Cabin Crew 1, is a flight attendant and recurring minor character in the Space Channel 5 series.

Report 1: Introducing...Ulala!
Melody can only be found in the Extra Mode version of the Report. She appears being forced to dance, multiple times, during the shooting segments in the second floor of the Spaceport 9. Once she is rescued, Melody will follow and assist Ulala throughout the rest of the Report.
Report 4: Evil in the Galaxy Revealed!
After Blank getting launched into space, Melody can be seen among the crowd, marching to the end of the galaxy.
Space Channel 5 VR: Kinda Funky News Flash![]
Report 1: Morolians Strike Back!
Melody returns to Space Channel 5 VR, where she makes a small appearance in the first Report, under the name Cabin Crew 1. Melody first make an appearance being forced to dance by the Morolians in the first dance battle. In order to rescue her, Ulala and the twins must memorize and copy the commands given by the Morolians.
If rescued, Melody will teleport to behind the player and assist them throughout the rest of the Report. At the end of the report, Melody teleports to the front of the player and celebrate.
Report 4: The Final Report
After the battle against Glitter, Melody can be seen helping the heroes getting enough Groove Moxie to launch Glitter into space. When Glitter leaves, she celebrates by dancing, like everyone else.

- The second floor lobby is only accessible in Extra Mode when, at the end of the first 'segment' of her show, Ulala has her ratings at 90% or more. Only then can Melody McBean be saved.
