History[]

Space Channel 5[]

Report 1: Introducing...Ulala!
Mr. Orville Plum can be found being forced to dance by the Morolians at the Spaceport 9's main floor, during the level's first shooting segment, which happens after Ulala saving Yaz Malloy and Brenda Boggs. However, he only appears if the player misses certain moves during this segment. Once Orville appears, Ulala must memorize and copy the directions given by the Morolians to save him. Just like every other rescued hostage, Orville will follow and assist Ulala throughout the rest of the Report once he is saved.

Orville Plum 2

Orville Plum replaces Cecil Aroma in the Extra Mode version of Report 1 if the view rating is below 95%.

Mr. Orville Plum can later be found being forced to dance again, in the Extra Mode version of Report 1, on the second floor lobby of Spaceport 9. However, it is necessary to have a certain amount of views to make him spawn; if the view rating is below 90% after the two shooting segments in the second floor, the player will find the Morolians forcing Orville to dance and they will be able to rescue him in a dance battle. If the view rating is above 95% though, the player will find the Morolians forcing Cecil Aroma to dance instead. When Orville joins Ulala after this dance battle, he will walk looking at his watch on his pulse and all of the other rescued hostage will mimic him.

Report 4: Evil in the Galaxy Revealed!
Mr. Orville Plum can be seen among the crowd backing Ulala in her battle against Blank TV, and eventually marching to the end of the galaxy.

Trivia[]

  • Orville Plum is one of two 'Dancelings' who can be found amongst normal hostages as well as on their own, the other being the Rescue Police trooper.
    • However, both Orville and the trooper do not break out into their unique 'strut' unless they are rescued on their own.
  • Like most of the male hostages in the first game, Orville only appears during shooting segments if the player misses certain moves.
