Through Ulala's exploits, there are several points of interest known at the port. These are mainly where the aliens during the Morolian Invasion forced people to dance.

History[]

Space Channel 5[]

Spaceport 9 first appears in the cutscene prior Report 1, where Morolians invade it and start forcing people to dance. Then, in the first report of the game, Introducing...Ulala!. Ulala goes to the Spaceport 9 to investigate the case.

First Floor Lobby[]

Spaceport 9 Main Floor

The Main Floor.

The level begins on the Spaceport 9's main floor, a location filled with rocket holograms, futuristic elevators and monitors showing things about space. When Ulala arrives, she walks through a desperate crowd scared of the Morolians. She stops in front of three Morolians keeping a salesman called Yaz Malloy and a Information Girl called Brenda Boggs as their hostages. Ulala fights against the Morolians in a dance battle and if she wins, she saves the hostages, but if she loses, the Morolians take the hostages away.

Ulala will then, walk a little bit and stop in front of the yellow check-in counter where Morolians will come out of it and try to shoot her. Ulala will need to memorize and copy the directions given by the Morolians to protect herself and shoot at them first. Sometimes, hostages will come out of the check-in counter and Ulala will need to rescue them.

Once this segment is over, Ulala will find three Morolians keeping two Space Tourists as hostages. Ulala will fight against the Morolians in a dance battle and if she wins, she saves the hostages. Afterwards, she will take an elevator to the Flight Control Tower and the first section of the level will end.

Flight Control Tower[]

The Flight Control Tower.

During one's first playthrough, Ulala will travel to the Flight Control Tower after completing First Floor Lobby. While playing a completed saved, Extra Mode, Ulala will travel to this location again if the rating are 79% or below.

When Ulala reaches this area, she finds out that when the Morolians attacked, the Space Rescue Police were summoned to help, but that plan didn't go quite as well as they had hoped and the Space Police was captured too. Ulala will find several Morolians and Space Police Troopers in this location.

At the end of the level, Ulala meets Pudding, who challenges her for a dance battle. If Ulala wins, one of Pudding's Henchmen called Rocka Billy will join her.

Second Floor Lobby[]

The Second Floor.

In Extra Mode, if the rating are at 90% or above when Ulala completes the last dance battle in the First Floor Lobby, Ulala will travel to the Second Floor Lobby. The Second Floor Lobby is a long blue hallway with holograms of people, red sofas and monitors on the left and a huge windows showing the Launch Pad on the right.

In this location, there are two shooting segments, where Ulala will need to attack Morolians and rescue hostages. At the end of the level, depending on the ratings, Ulala will find either Cecil Aroma or Mr. Orville Plum being forced to dance by the Morolians, and Ulala will need to defeat the Morolians in a dance battle in order to rescue them. Afterwards, Ulala will be caught off guard by an explosion by missile which will sent her flying. But she will easily recover and will go the next location.

The Luggage Room[]

Luggage Room.

In Extra Mode, if the rating are at or between 80% and 89% when Ulala completes the last dance battle in the First Floor Lobby, Ulala will travel to The Luggage Room. It should be noted that if Ulala starts the Report with the ratings at 100%, it will be impossible to access this area. The Luggage Room has many translucent tubes surrounded by neon rings through which baggage is transported.

In this level, there are many shooting segments where Ulala will need to rescue Spaceport 9's staff workers, one of them happens inside the translucent tubes which transports baggage. At the end of the level, Ulala will find the Space Dogs being forced to dance, and will need to rescue them by defeating a Morolian in a dance battle.

The Launch Pad.

In both the normal and the Extra Mode version of the Report, Ulala will go to the Launch Pad after the second section of the level, regardless if it is the Flight Control Tower, the Second Floor or the Luggage Room. The Launch Pad is a huge gray area with spotlights placed at the pad to assist ships in landing, or to light up robots in an emergency and monitors showing the message "Welcome to Spaceport...".

At the center of the Launch Pad, there is a big white and blue rocket, which will drop Coco★Tapioca, a giant hypnotized pink robot that is the first boss of the game. Ulala will need to defeat Coco★Tapioca in order to beat the level.

When Coco★Tapioca is defeated, the robot is freed from Blank's hypnotic control and the level ends with Ulala marching away with the rescued hostages, as well as the now unhypnotized Coco★Tapioca getting up and hopping along behind the lines of people Ulala rescued.
